Prachtige roman waarin alle gebeurtenissen achteraf in een nieuw perspectief zichtbaar worden, met te midden van de harde realiteit een korte maar krachtige waarzeggersscène die van cruciaal belang blijkt voor het hoofdpersonage. Een aangrijpende "coming-of-age" roman voor jongeren èn volwassenen, boordevol symboliek over verandering en doorspekt met de pijnlijke, poëtische en chaotische gedachten van een zelfbewuste adolescent.
